...a time of new life! Not only was Blake born at the very beginning of Spring, but new life is popping up all around us. I love Springtime for that very reason! I love watching the flowers bloom, the trees bud, the grass turn green, and everything just "spring" to life again. To me, it is a sign of hope and new beginnings. Every year, Blake's birthday will mark the beginning of new life!
Along with being able to watch Blake grow before our very own eyes and the new growth in our yard, we have also been invited to see the beginning of new life for some animals. Mrs. Hall, Angy's Kindergarten teaching partner, invited us into her classroom to see some brand new baby chicks. I thought this was appropriate after the whole Peep incident.

Debbie also does an annual field trip to Plumb Farm to see all of the baby animals. I was fortunate enough to attend this year.

All of these events have made for an extra special Springtime!
