"Mr. Bigeyes"Blake, that is! He is a pretty fantistic baby, if I don't say so myself! We took him to his four month well-baby check up and he is doing phenomenal. Dr. Ripley said he is thriving...and that's not hard to tell by looking at him; he's my little "Chunky Monkey"!
He weighed in at 14.8 pounds (easily doubling his birthweight) which fell into the 48th percentile. He measured 25.5 inches which is in the 77th percentile (yes, the Urich boys will be tall like their uncles!). And his head circumference was 15.75 inches which is only in the 7th percentile - Blake has always had a small head and for that I am thankful! We were able to say yes to all of the milestone questions that Dr. Ripley asked therefore, Blake is right on track!
He is smiling a TON, laughing out loud, grabbing onto toys, chewing on EVERYTHING, rolling over from front to back (though not for the camera therefore, I have no evidence), and kicking lots! We have had two nights in a row with 8 hours of uninterrupted sleep, so hopefully this becomes a habit. He is a pretty great baby! We LOVE Blake James!
